These awarding winning tours are fun, educational, current, and change every time they are given. They show all types and kinds of public art including classic graffiti, wheatpaste, stencil art, yarn bombing, tape art, and are adapted to what is currently being created and changed allowing an ever changing tour of the art of the streets.
Downtown Manhattan Graffiti Tour: The walking tour is led by real NYC graffiti artists and allows the client to interact directly with them. This tour teaches the history but also appreciates today’s street artists taking in over 25 of the best examples on the street. Look at tags, throw ups, and learn about today’s graffiti culture. Then, take a stroll through the Centrifuge art project that is using the New York City Subway as its canvas. This tour is in and around the Lower East Side and Bowery areas of Manhattan and lasts around 90 minutes.
Group Graffiti Workshops: Follow your tour with hands on team building experience completing a collaborative mural project. They are run by working artists and are done at the highest level of integrity and art teaching technical graffiti skills along with general art education. A workshop can accompany a tour or can be standalone and takes place in lower Manhattan
