The Story of Berlin, Berlin
The Story of Berlin opened its doors in 1999 and offers visiting student groups an insight into 800 years of history of the city of Berlin. Visitors are guided around the museum with hi-tech headsets, which give audio commentaries in English or German. Underneath the museum is an enormous nuclear shelter, designed and built during the Cold War to hold nearly 4000 people. Guided tours are possible.
