La Conciergerie, Paris
History and Architecture groups can visit the Conciergerie on the banks of the River Seine in heart of Paris. It is the oldest remaining part of the Palais de la Cité, the first royal palace in the French capital that was used as a prison during the French Revolution and has been the central seat of authority and justice in Paris for almost 1000 years.
It has a rich history and its ancient halls have seen countless games of power played out within them over the centuries. Contact our Paris study trips experts today at FHT Group Tours and we will be delighted to arrange this visit as part of any History trips to Paris for student groups.
