Royal Palace Amsterdam, Amsterdam
Located in Dam Square, The Royal Palace Amsterdam is one of three Palaces used by the Dutch Royal Family, notably for State Visits, Award Ceremonies and some other official functions.
The building plays a role in royal marriages and in the abdication and inauguration of the Monarch. When the Palace is not in use by the Royal House, the Amsterdam Royal Palace Foundation opens the building to the public most of the year and offers exhibitions in the summer. Groups need to apply for a visit at least two weeks in advance, entrance fees apply
