The Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing
Founded by Belgian art collector Baron Guy Ullens and his wife Myriam, the UCCA was officially opened on November 5, 2007, covers over 8000 square metres and is visited by over a million people each year. Located in the Dashanzi warehouse district of the city, the UCCA has three galleries, and also offers a public program of film, music, and dance. It regularly hosts talks and conferences, and has initiated an education program, which includes opening China's first contemporary arts library. Student group tours can be arranged.
