Rembrandthuis Museum, Amsterdam
Housed in a 3-storey building where the great master lived for almost 20 years between 1639-1658, the Rembrandthuis museum was opened in 1911. It contains approximately 250 of his etchings, as well as paintings by Rembrandt’s teacher, Pieter Lastman and some of the painters who worked under the master in his studio.
Free demonstrations are given to groups detailing how he made his etchings and prepared his paints. Contact our Amsterdam art trips experts at FHT Student Group Tours today and we will be delighted to arrange this study visit as part of your next educational trip to the Dutch Capital.
