BFI Imax Cinema London, London
A trip to the BFI will certainly enhance any TV Media and Film Study tour to London.
The BFI London IMAX is the UK's largest IMAX cinema located in the South Bank district of London close to Waterloo Station. It is owned by the British Film Institute and since July 2012 has been operated by Odeon Cinemas.
Aside from the large screen the centre is also the home to the BFIs Reuben Library which houses an extensive collection of books journals and documents relating to Film and TV which is available for free use by groups. The centre also hosts regular education days for student groups throughout the year. The Mediatheque is also accessible by groups from Tues to Friday mornings enabling them to extensive national archive free of charge.
