National Archaeological Museum, Venice

Il Museo  Archeologico è aperto tutti i giorni dalle 10.00 alle 17.00 (dal 1 novembre al 31 marzo) e dalle 10.00 alle 19.00 (dal 1 aprile al 31 ottobre). Giorni di chiusura: 1  gennaio, 25 dicembre.

Il Museo Archeologico fa parte del percorso museale integrato I Musei di Piazza San Marco: l'ingresso coincide quindi con quello del Museo Civico Correr, in Piazza San Marco, ala napoleonica.

Il biglietto unico integrato I Musei di Piazza San Marco, che comprende la visita a Palazzo Ducale, Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico e Sale Monumentali delle Biblioteca Marciana si acquista negli orari di apertura del Correr, presso la biglietteria dello stesso o presso la biglietteria di Palazzo Ducale.

Si ricorda che la vendita dei biglietti presso il Museo Correr termina un'ora dell'orario  di chiusura.

Bridge of Sighs

Rialto Bridge

The iconic Rialto bridge was built in late 16th century as result of a competition held in Venice to replace the older version on the Grand Canal. Many illustrious architects such as Palladio, Sansovino and Vignola tried to win the competition but was Antonio da Ponte who was chosen to design it.
