Ferrari Museum, Florence
It may even be possible to combine a visit to the Ducati Factory with the nearby Ferrari Museum at Maranello about 90 mins from the centre of Florence. Officially opened in 18th Feb 1990 on Enzo Ferrari’s birthday, a year and a half after the founder had passed away, the Museum but has been welcoming car enthusiasts from all over the world to celebrate the Prancing Horse legend ever since. The Galleria Ferrari became the company’s official museum in 1995 and since 2011 has been known simply as the Ferrari Museum.
The Museum is divided into themed areas designed to fulfil the expectations of enthusiasts of all kinds, from motor racing fans to expert historic car enthusiasts and even those who admire the Prancing Horse as an icon of Italian design, exclusivity and technology.
