Guided Fashion Tour

We are pleased to be able to arrange a number of different walking tours that will give students an in-depth look at the history of fashion in Antwerp as well as it's modern day incarnations in the many designer shops it has to offer. These walks will also give your group an understanding of the developments in this city of fashion over the last fifty years, as well as Antwerp's architectural and design heritage. MoMu Fashion Museum

The MoMu Fashion Museum has a collection of over 25.000 items: clothing, shoes, accessories, lace among others.  It's aim is to collect historical costumes (the oldest pieces date back to the 16the century!) as well as pieces by contemporary designers such as Dries Van Noten, Yohji Yamamoto, Bernhard Willhelm, Ann Demeulemeester, and to keep them in the best possible condition.

Museum of Contemporary Art

The MUHKA considers its task the responsibility of acquiring, researching, administering and opening to the public of works of art in public property. The basis of its collection is the Foundation Gordon Matta-Clark which dates back from the times of the ICC. Other important additional funds are the works it has acquired by itself and the works on permanent loan from the Flemish Community. Contact FHT for entrance prices and opening times.
