Lenin's Mausoleum

Immediately after Lenin's death in 1924, a wooden mausoleum was originally erected on the square. In 1929, architect Aleksei Shchusev was commissioned to design a more lasting home for the body. The result, opened a year later, is the building your groups can visit and come face to face with one of the most influential leaders in Russia's history.
