About this trip

Boston played a key role in the American Revolution, which groups can discover by following the famous Freedom Trail. The 2.5-mile walking route is punctuated by key historic sites telling the story of the nation’s founding.

The city has a rich and diverse history that overspills into a variety of subject areas too, from Boston Ghost Tours and the Boston Tea Party Ships & Museum, to visiting Cambridge & Harvard university or going on a Boston Red Sox Tour.

Boston is an excellent destination to explore independently, but also great to combine as part of a multi-centre trip alongside New York, Washington or even Philadelphia.
