Dutch Resistance Museum, Amsterdam

Explore the Dutch Resistance Museum on your university or college trip to Amsterdam.

Since it's foundation in 1985, the collection at the Dutch Resistance Museum has become one of the largest collections in the Netherlands related to the occupation and the resistance movement in the years 1940-1945.

Many people who kept their tangible memories of the war years have donated these to the Dutch Resistance Museum.

Students can explore the recreation of the streets of Amsterdam as they would have been during the Nazi Occupation, hear the stories of the Dutch people and children who lived through this period, as well as view real-life artifacts from the time.
