Explore the Rijksmuseum on your university or college trip to Amsterdam.

After reopening in 2013, The Rijksmuseum is one of the most famous and largest art museums in the Netherlands.

The completely renovated attraction tells the story of the Netherlands from the Middle Ages to the modern day.

Featuring a huge selection of paintings from the 15th to mid 19th Century, it is a magnet for international visitors and particularly for Art and Design groups.

It is also home to many iconic works including Rembrandt's Night Watch, Vermeer's Milkmaid and a range of decorative artefacts from Romanesque to Art Nouveau.
