This former textile factory was designed by the famous Modernist architect, Josep Puig i Cadafalch. Opened in 2002, the Caixa Forum has become one of the finest cultural centres in the Catalan capital.

The museum offers a variety of attractions, which includes a selection of cutting-edge temporary exhibits and a permanent exhibition that offers visitors an insight into the building's history and design.

The building's most prominent feature, is undoubtedly the metal and glass sculpture at the entrance, designed by Japanese architect, Arata Izozaki.
