The Institut Guttmann is a specialised hospital in the medical and surgical treatment and comprehensive rehabilitation of people with spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury or other neurological disabilities. Its main objective is to provide specialised, comprehensive, continuous, personalised care, incorporating the highest levels of science, technology and compassion.

The visit consists of seeing the terrace and the cafeteria and having a look at the building but not where the patients are doing the rehabilitation. Students will have a presentation about the hospital, how they work, the history, etc. They will have also a doctor and a patient to ask questions.
