Explore the Bauhaus Museum on your university or college trip to Berlin.

The Bauhaus Archive/Museum of Design in Berlin, is devoted to the research and presentation of the history and influence of the Bauhaus, one of the most pivotal schools of architecture, design and art in the 20th century.

The entire spectrum of the school’s activities is represented in the Bauhaus Collection: architecture, furniture, ceramics, metalwork, photography, stage pieces and student work from the preliminary course.

The annual museum programme features special exhibitions, numerous lectures, podium discussions, workshops, readings and concerts.

*Please note that to celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus, in 2019 the Bauhaus-Archiv/Museum für Gestaltung is being renovated in accordance with historic monument requirements during the next few years, with a new museum building being added. We regret that while construction work is in progress during the next few years, the museum, archive and reference library are closed.
