Explore the Berlin Museum of Medical History on your university or college trip to Berlin.

The Charite institution is located in the Berlin Museum of Medical History, showcasing medical history from over the past 300 years.

The museum's permanent exhibition illustrates humanity's medical journey through history, following humans ever-evolving perception of the body and the possibilities inherent in today's medicine.

The specimen hall is the heart of the museum, the core purpose of which goes back to the collecting activities of Rudolf Virchow, today showcasing around 750 pathologic-anatomical wet and dry preparations. Temporary exhibitions also focus on various aspects of current medicine and medical history.

A variety of guided tours of the museum can be arranged. *Please note that due to pathological-anatomical specimens displayed in the museum, students must be at least sixteen year old or above to visit.
