Explore the DDR Museum on your university or college trip to Berlin.

The DDR Museum is located in the centre of Berlin on the River Spree, opposite Berlin Cathedral.

The museum provides a unique visitor experience, engaging your students senses in an immersive experience of everyday life in the former East Germany. Their exhibitions aim to illustrate the realistic daily life for those who lived in East Germany; including showcasing covert listening devices or 'bugs', giving visitors a real sense of what it was like being under surveillance.

Other highlights include a simulated drive in an original Trabant P601, an authentic reconstruction of a high-rise tower block flat with five rooms and numerous interactive games.
