The European Month of Photography takes place every two years, presenting a wide range of exhibitions and events on historic and contemporary photography.

It is the largest German festival for photography, with the goal to foster cooperation on a European level and strengthen the international photography scene.

Since its inception in 2004, numerous museums, cultural institutions, galleries, project spaces, embassies, and photo schools in Berlin and Potsdam have presented exhibitions and events selected by a panel of experts.
