The Museum für Fotografie, has been a magnet for photography enthusiasts from all over the world since its opening in 2004.

The Photographic Collection's holdings date back to the very early days of photography - through to Pictorialism around the turn of the last century, the Neues Sehen or 'New Vision' of the 1920s, to the new artistic styles of the present day.

The museum is highly focused on the works of Helmut Newton. It has personal belongings and collections from many stages of his career. It offers students a great opportunity to understand the history of fashion photography and women's clothes.
