The Pergamon Museum is one of the largest archaeological museums in the world, located on the iconic Museum Island in Berlin. 

Exhibition rooms are overflowing with some of the world’s most impressive long-buried treasures, encompassing the vast history of the Ancient East with artifacts from across the globe, including; Iran, Asia, Egypt and the Caucasus. 

One of the museum’s main highlights is the original frieze of the Pergamon Altar, which depicts the epic battle between the gods and giants. 

*Please note that the north wing, including the Pergamon Altar, will be closed for refurbishment until 2023.
