Since 1926, Design museum has been housed in one of Copenhagen’s finest rococo buildings, the former King Frederik’s Hospital.
This museum for Danish and international design houses the exhibitions, collections, library and its archives are a central resource centre for the study of design and its history in Denmark. As well as the museum itself, the gardens, can be enjoyed by everyone during opening hours.
Tours in English can be arranged in the permanent exhibitions as well as in the temporary exhibitions after 5pm and at weekends.
