Buckingham Palace State Room, London

Explore the Buckingham Palace State Room on your university or college trip to London.

Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of Britain's sovereigns since 1837, and today serves as the administrative headquarters of the Monarch. As the focus of many national and royal celebrations, it is also backdrop to the regular Changing the Guard ceremony.

Whilst much of the building itself is occupied for official events and receptions held by The Queen, the State Rooms are open to visitors every year.

Your students can explore the magnificent State Rooms which are open to visitors for ten weeks each summer (20 July - 29 September 2019) and on selected dates during winter and spring.
