Shakespeare's Globe Performance

Explore Shakespeare's Globe on your university or college trip to London.

Shakespeare’s Globe is a world-renowned performing arts venue, cultural attraction and education centre located on the bank of the River Thames in London. Home to the Globe Theatre and Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, the venue celebrates Shakespeare’s work and its continuing transformative impact on the world.

During your visit, your group can embark on an informative guided tour to examine the historical and current value of Shakespeare’s plays, the materials of theatre practice or the relationship between the actors and audience in Early Modern theatre, with Shakespeare scholars and expert theatre professionals.

Your guide will bring the space to life with colourful stories of the 1599 Globe, the reconstruction process in the 1990s, and of how the ‘wooden O’ works today as an imaginative and experimental theatrical space.

You can also attend a live performance as part of your visit. Please ask out Tour Solvers for more information on the upcoming shows available.
