911 Memorial Site

Explore the 911 Memorial Site on your university or college trip to New York.

The 9/11 Memorial and 9/11 Memorial Museum are the principal memorial and museum commemorating the September 11 attacks of 2001.

The sites commemorate those who lost their lives in the attacks which killed approximately 3000 people, as well as the six people killed in the World Trade Center bombing of 1993.

The Museum offers a diverse set of inquiry-based programs designed to challenge students to think critically about a wide range of topics related to the attacks in 2001.

Students will be immersed in the events of 9/11 through interactive technology, archives, narratives and a collection of artifacts, along with two core exhibitions set amid 110,000 square feet of museum space.
