The International Center of Photography comprises of a school, library and museum; all of which host a rich variety of photographic resources.

Founded in the 1960s as the International Fund for Concerned Photography, ICP showcases work by photojournalists Werner Bischof, Robert Capa and Dan Weiner, all of whom were killed on assignment.

Photojournalism remains an important focus of the center’s program, which also includes contemporary photos and video. Here, you can explore the legacy and future of image-making through a variety of dynamic exhibitions and events.

*Please note that The International Center of Photography has now closed. The new centre will reunite its Museum and School to create an integrated center at Essex Crossing on the Lower East Side, opening from January 2020.
