3) Berlin Leuchtet (Festival of Lights)

Twice a year, in January and July, the fashion world descends on the German capital for Berlin Fashion Week. Visitors can enjoy designs from household names, as well as an impressive roster of the best young talent from around the world.

5) Open Air Gallery

The Open Air Gallery is the perfect way to immerse yourself in the world-famous Berlin art scene. Each year, for one day in June and one day in July, the Oberbaumbrücke (Oberbaum Bridge) is taken over and transformed into a mile-long art exhibition, where over a hundred artists can display their paintings, photographs and sculptures.
