5 free things to do on a trip to Barcelona

1) Enjoy free entry to museums on Sundays

Barcelona houses a seemingly endless array of museums, and many of them offer free admission on Sunday afternoons between 3pm and 8pm and free admission all day on the first Sunday of each month. Make sure to plan a visit to the MNAC, CCCB or Picasso Museum if you have the time.

2) Take a stroll down Las Ramblas

No trip to Barcelona is complete without a wander down Las Ramblas. One of the world’s most famous strips, this promenade is constantly bustling with activity, from human statues and street artists to busy restaurants, bars and market stalls.

The Font Màgica, or Magic Fountain, is one of Barcelona’s most popular attractions, with a water, sound and lightshow that has been enchanting visitors since its restoration in 1992.
