Photography trips to Amsterdam

Home to an array of excellent museums and galleries, including the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam is a diverse, eclectic and wonderful choice for any trips for any Photography student group.

Distinct areas of Amsterdam each have their own charm and aesthetic. Abundant in colourful architecture, gleaming canals and lively boutique streets - Amsterdam is a haven for budding photographers.

Meet with other photographers along a canal side setting at FOAM, or explore the works of some of the biggest names in photography at the Huis Marseille, Museum Voor Fotographie.

The Stedelijk Museum is a great opportunity for students to explore the works of Andy Warhol. After producing a series of stitched photographs in the 1980's, many were left unfinished after the artists sudden death. The Andy Warhol Foundation commissioned the final sewing together of these photographs in 2014, and the photos are now on display at the Stedelijk Museum as part of their permanent collection.

Why not visit Amsterdam for your next Photography trip, or take a look below for more inspiration.
