Barcelona is a popular destination for Geography and Environmental students; home to urban environments, regeneration projects and sports sites including the Olympic site.

Within the city centre, there are various walking tours that cover the major sites across the city, from the stunning regenerated waterfront area and historic old harbour, to 'Smart and Sustainable' inspired walking tours. 

Outside of the city, popular study visits include field work at a volcanic natural parks and an agriculture park, with exciting cultural visits that allow your students to immerse themselves into Spanish culture and way of life.

Day 1

Morning

Flight to Barcelona.

Afternoon

Meet your local representative and transfer to your accommodation for check in.

Evening

Evening meal and free time for local orientation.

Day 2

Morning

Guided visit exploring Barcelona’s Waterfront Regeneration post Olympics.

Afternoon

Sightseeing including the Nou Camp and Sagrada Famila.

Evening

Evening meal at your hotel.

Day 3

Morning

Guided field excursion to Garroxta National Park.

Evening

Evening meal at your hotel followed by free time for shopping at Port Vell or Plaza Catalunya

Day 4

Morning

Transfer to the airport for your return flight home.
