Boston

Founded in 1630, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. Its rich history attracts many tourists, with Faneuil Hall alone drawing over 20 million visitors per year.

The city played a key role in the American Revolution with events such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Siege of Boston. Upon U.S. independence from Great Britain, the city continued to be an important port and manufacturing hub, as well as a center for education and culture

Boston is a forward-thinking and progressive city, in more ways than one. As one of the oldest cities in America, the cobbled streets entwine between grand architecture that are peppered with fascinating historic attractions, many of which unfold the events leading to the American fight from independence from Britain. The city also hosts a vibrant collection of art, stemming from the intellectual elite of the 19th century, who shared their wealth through establishing libraries, museums and symphonic orchestras - shaping today's vibrant arts scene.
