General visits to Boston

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and an amazing city to visit for student groups - playing a key role in the American Revolution.

Founded in 1630, Boston is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. The city played a key role in the American Revolution with events such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the Siege of Boston.

Upon U.S. independence from Great Britain, the city continued to be an important port and manufacturing hub, as well as a center for education and culture. Its rich history attracts many tourists, with Faneuil Hall alone drawing over 20 million visitors per year.

Boston is an excellent destination to explore independently, but also great to combine as part of a multi-centre trip alongside New York, Washington or even Philadelphia. Why not visit Boston for your next History student trip, or take a look below for more inspiration.

Always available, went out of their way to help us when a student had her passport stolen 3 day before the trip.
