Dublin

There’s a lot more to trips to Dublin than the Temple Bar district. Ireland’s capital provides the perfect trip for sixth form, college and university trips for all kinds of subjects.

Originally founded as a Viking settlement, Ireland’s capital later evolved into the Kingdom of Dublin and became the island's principal city following the Norman invasion. Steeped in history and playing a pivotal role in both the partition of Ireland in 1922 and the Good Friday Agreement in 1998, Dublin prospered as the capital city of the Celtic Tiger economy in the 1990s, only to fall on hard times as a result of the 2007 financial crisis.

Today, Dublin provides the perfect study location for subjects of all kinds. From the Irish Museum of Modern Art, where Art & Design students can take inspiration, to the Irish National Stud, where Animal Management students can learn about Ireland’s thoroughbred champions.

Sixth form, college and university trips to Dublin are highly beneficial for a variety of courses. FHT can provide value transport and accommodation options and are on hand to offer assistance with the booking of suitable visits.

Peter organised an amazing experience. Tam and Paula were awesome in dealing with all of the cancellations due to extreme weather. I can not speak highly enough of the whole team and I will never use a different company for as long as I organise these trips.
