London is an ideal destination to further your students Criminology BTEC studies. You can choose from 1 and 2 day experiences in the capital to include tours and workshops at some of the key institutions of law and order.

Itineraries
One Day Criminology Study Tour
Day 1
Morning
Arrive Tower Hill and meet WorkSecure Group Instructors. Work through Modules 1 & 2 covering London's history plus visiting Mitre Square, Tower Hill Green and a Jack the Ripper crime scene.
Afternoon
Lunch / Briefing at The Gherkin. Then working through Modules 3 & 4 covering the subject of surveillance.
Evening
Bus to meet outside of Liverpool Street Station to depart for school.
Two Day Criminology Tour
Day 1
Morning
Depart for London. Visit the National Justice Museum - Based in the Royal Courts of Justice, these 2-hour workshops immerse students in the legal system giving them the chance to take on roles such as a judge, barrister, defendant, witness or juror.
Afternoon
Legal London Walking Tour - Weave in and out of London’s Inns of Court, a collection of attractive courtyards, cloisters and gardens, each with their own special history and personalities.
Evening
Check into and have dinner in accommodation.
Day 2
Morning

Richard, from WorkSecure Group, led us through the old East End, in an attempt to bring the Criminology A level course to life. He succeeded beautifully in galvanising the students. The use of techniques honed in the Police service excited the students, and engagement was thus on high alert throughout! Richard constantly challenged perceptions, and filled in many a gap in understanding and knowledge. The activity on surveillance along Shoreditch High Street was a particularly memorable aspect. Students were able to bring the practical demonstrations back into the classroom, in preparation for exams.
