Foundation and Degree students can delve into the key sites that have formed modern America in New York and Washington and experience two of the world's most powerful cities with a two-centre trip to New York and Washington DC.

A two-centre tour gives your students the time and the opportunity for your Degree and Foundation students to understand the country's past so that they can see how democracy is delivered in present times.

First, take a guided tour of the United Nations to see modern day history in the making, visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis island where the immigration story began for most, or take a guided tour of downtown to witness the impact of the events of 9/11 and hear stories from the recent financial crisis.

Then you will pair your visit with a trip to Washington DC, the site of many events seen around the world, where you will learn about the origins of American politics and see how the Senate is run today.
