Known also as Reggio nell'Emilia and located in the heart of Italy near Tuscany, Reggio Emilia is the perfect destination for Early Years Education students to visit.

The Reggio Emilia approach, which focuses on preschool and primary education, was developed by psychologist Loris Malaguzzi and parents from surrounding villages. Following the war, people believed that children were in need of a new way of learning.

Students can visit the Mary Poppins Nursery and The Colonnello Lugli di Santa Croce School, both located nearby in Carpi, where they practise the Montessori method. The city itself is filled with grand and colourful buildings, attractive squares and leafy green parks.

What our clients say

The organisation and communication with yourselves was excellent, very supportive and a very well planned and organised trip. The app was very useful whilst away as it meant I did not have to carry paperwork around with me all of the time

Excellent service from friendly and professional staff, even down to a Sunday afternoon phone call to inform us of a flight delay. Thanks FHT.
