The Reggio Emilia approach, which focuses on preschool and primary education, was developed by psychologist Loris Malaguzzi and parents from surrounding villages.
Whilst here, students of Health, Social Care & Early Years can learn about this famous approach in more depth – including how, following the war, people believed that children were in need of a new way of learning.
Students can also visit the Mary Poppins Nursery and The Colonnello Lugli di Santa Croce School, both located nearby in Carpi, where they practice the alternative Montessori method.
To learn more about any of these visits, or to get a tailor-made quote for your Health, Social Care & Early Years trip to Reggio Emilia, get in touch with a specialist member of the FHT team.
